Day 1: Lisbon

Your trip starts in Portugal's capital, Lisbon. Be sure to visit Alfama before boarding the ship, a neighborhood known for its fado bars and Moorish streets. You embark from 4 pm to 5 pm, departure is at 7 pm.

Day 2: Lagos

The second day you will arrive in Lagos, located in the Algarve. Here you will admire the picturesque and ancient city center with traditional houses and the Ponta da Piedade nature reserve with paradisiacal beaches protected by fascinating cliffs of ochre yellow limestone.

Day 3: Cadiz

Today you arrive in Andalusia where you visit Cadiz. From the beaches of Cortadura to the flamenco bars of Santa Maria and the colorful streets of la Viña, you will be amazed by this city. In the medieval neighborhood of El Pópulo, walk along covered passageways in the narrow cracks between houses. The star of the show is the magnificent cathedral with its dome crowned with yellow porcelain.

Day 4: Marbella

On day four, you sail into Marbella, a well-known seaside resort on the Costa del Sol. With its white houses in flowery streets, the old town is perfect for a pleasant stroll. The Plaza de los Naranjos, the former centerpiece of the city, is close to the 10th-century Arab castle and the church of Santa María de la Encarnación. Not far from here you will discover the beautiful viewpoints of Ronda, a picturesque town at an altitude of 700 meters.

Day 5: Málaga

The next city you visit on the Costa del Sol is Málaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Stroll along the boulevard of La Faralo between the marina and the beaches. A little further back is the arena Malagueta which is well worth a visit. From the hill overlooking the old town you can see the Gibralfaro Castle and the Alcazaba. To visit the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, go first to plaza de la Merced. A few blocks back you can visit the museum dedicated to the artist, in the Buenavista Palace.

Day 6: Almería

Today you continue to Andalusia's easternmost capital, the legendary Almería, with a coastline of pristine beaches and an interior characterized by the typical desert ecosystem. Almería was an important port for the Caliphate of Cordoba in the past and has a remarkable citadel and cathedral whose imposing structure stands in the center of the old town.

Day 7: Cartagena

Today you will arrive at the Bay of Cartagena, a natural area surrounded by hills where the greatest European civilizations were located. A city full of architectural heritage of Roman, Moorish and Christian influences, among others. Further traverse the vineyards and Citrus orchards that stretch to Murcia. The natural location of the Bay of Carthagena, surrounded by hills, watches over the fate of this former fortress that has been home to the greatest European civilizations. Today these Phoenician, Roman, Carthaginian, Moorish and Christian influences form a rich architectural heritage. The Roman theater is one of the most important and best preserved in Spain. You can also traverse the endless landscapes of vineyards and citrus groves toward Murcia to visit this dynamic regional capital.

Day 8: Valencia

Today you explore Valencia, the city of art and science. Two hearts beat in this Spanish city: one is modern, avant-garde and almost futuristic; the other is more provincial, more traditional and nostalgic.

Day 9: Barcelona

As your final destination, you will arrive in Barcelona. Over the years it has been marked by some of the greatest artists, such as Picasso, Miró or Gaudí, most of whose work is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Take time to stroll along the Ramblas and enjoy the gentle, typically Mediterranean lifestyle of Catalonia's capital.
